Jack Erler, principal of CTResolution™, brings more than 35 years of legal experience to mediation. He has had an extensive litigation practice in state and federal trial and appellate courts. His dispute resolution experience includes:
- Commercial;
- Real Estate;
- Land use and environmental law;
- Professional relationship, and
- Personal Injury
This background gives Jack the ability to understand a dispute in legal terms and realistically weigh the possible outcomes if the dispute is pursued in court. He can share this information with the disputing parties, enabling them to effectively evaluate their settlement options. He is familiar with complex and multiparty conflicts. This breadth of experience enhances the likelihood of a mediated outcome that is legally sound as well as satisfactory to the parties.
Jack is a qualified CADRES (Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Service) mediator in general civil litigation, Rule 16B and environmental and land use cases.
His educational background, including psychology and
mediation training, in addition to his experience has polished his
mediation skills and increased his ability to find common ground even when
substantial barriers to settlement exist.
